Well today is a special day for Hindus and specifically to Brahmins(White Cross Members). We celebrate this day grandly as this is a special day where we often declare this society that we are Brahmins and worship Lord Suryan who gives an extraordinary power by chanting a manthira called “Gayathri Manthra”. It was celebrated usually in my house and i had a heavy food in the morning itself. Day before yesterday we celebrated Varalakshmi Nombu in my Chithi house.More information are given here
